Located in the most Southwest part of Louisiana, in Cameron Parish, is the 170 year old Sabine Pass Lighthouse which has survived multiple hurricanes and a Civil War battle. The Lighthouse was built in 1856, first lit in 1857 (please excuse the typo on the reel) .
