This Day in History: March 12, 1912: Juliette Gordon Low founds first Girl Scout troop in Savannah

Lake Juliette is a reservoir lake in central Georgia, 75 miles south of Atlanta and 17 miles north of Macon. Also known as Rum Creek, the lake is co-managed by Georgia Power and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (GDNR), has a surface area of 3,600 acres and has 32 miles of shoreline.
