‼️🐢🌴🌊 SAVE ANASTASIA STATE PARK! We went to the park today to specifically hike through the Maritime Hammock — a heavily wooded area with amazing full growth trees — oaks, palms, pine, magnolia and more. A perfect habitat for wildlife and so incredibly important to prevent erosion! We walked the Ancient Dunes Trail and the Marsh Trail. 🐢 We even saw two gopher tortoises! (The gopher tortoise is unique in that it is Federally listed as Threatened under the Endangered Species Act!) Anastasia S
