It’s called cording…a.k.a. piping…a.k.a. welt…here’s a low bulk way to finish the ends of piping with an inconspicuous seam: -After sewing the cording, sew it onto your cushion or pillow panel, leaving a few inches un-sewn at each end. -Trim one end of the cording so that it overlaps the other end by the width of the cording strip. (The standard width of upholstery cording strip is cut out at 1.5”, so I cut the cording off exactly 1.5” past the other end of the cording) -Open the ends of the cor
