Let's talk about ventilator alarms...a high-yield critical care NCLEX® topic! As a future nurse, you need to know 1️⃣ what causes the different types of alarms, and 2️⃣ what to do about it! ⬆️ HIGH-pressure alarms are caused by a block, kink, occlusion, or such somewhere in the breathing tube or ventilator circuit. They cause pressure to build up and get too HIGH - think air TRAPPING! ⬇️ LOW-pressure alarms are caused when there is a leak somewhere and pressure is getting too LOW... so the clien
