He appears to be an older owl, and once he is more stable, we will get x-rays and blood work to gain a better understanding of what is going on. He is not yet eating on his own, so our team is hand-feeding him to ensure he gets the nutrition he need in addition to rehydrating him with fluids and administering medicat

As spring unfolds, we’re seeing lots of owl babies falling from unstable nests. Thankfully, a kind homeowner found this little Great Horned owlet alive on the ground, but sadly, its two siblings were not as fortunate. When this precious baby arrived at our hospital, it was cold, wet, and dehydrated, with a wound next to its cloaca likely caused by the fall.
