Here is the video from February of Georgette and her mate grooming on the icy riverbank. I thought I had posted the video earlier today, but I accidentally posted a screenshot from the video instead. Beavers don’t hibernate, because they don’t have the physiological ability to slow their body down into dormancy like hibernating mammals.
