(WANE)— The Jay County Sheriff’s department posted an alert on their Facebook page just before 8 p.m. Sunday night that an apparent tornado had touched down just outside of Portland. The Sheriff’s department confirmed to WANE 15 that there is heavy damage to Jay County Jr.
