Day two of the India vs Bangladesh second Test at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur has been called off due to rain. Not a single ball was bowled on Day 2 after only 35 overs were possible on the opening day of the second Test match. India are 1-0 up in the two match series, having won the series opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Rain played spoilsport on day two of the second Test match between India and Bangladesh at Green Park stadium, Kanpur on September 28.  The match was abandoned without a single delivery bowled.  Taking to the microblogging site X,

The second day’s play in the Test match between India and Bangladesh was delayed by rain in Kanpur. Only 35 overs were played on day one, and further rain is predicted, complicating the match.

Day two of the second India-Bangladesh cricket test was abandoned without a ball bowled Saturday because of rain. Persistent rain at the Green Park stadium had again prevented play in the morning session and conditions did not improve thereafter as the entire ground stayed under covers.

Rain forced a delayed start and an early stumps on the opening day of the India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test at the Green Park Stadium.
