A local golf course in Southern California has fallen victim to devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. Altadena Golf Course, located northeast of Pasadena, announced that it ‘did not survive’ the flames, as the clubhouse was destroyed.

Past California fires have been much bigger than the ones burning Wednesday, but the damages will add up in Southern California.

Strong winds that sent wildfires ripping through the mountains and foothills around Los Angeles on Tuesday fed a spectacle of smoke, flames and flight.
