GloRilla, one of Memphis' newest music stars will make her debut on an episode of "Saturday Night Live" hosted by Dave Chappelle this weekend.

Not many Memphis celebrities have made appearances on "SNL" through the years, meaning GloRilla joins an elite list of performers this week.

GloRilla — the Grammy-nominated 25-year-old rapper and Frayser native — will appear as the musical guest on the Jan. 18 edition of “Saturday Night Live,” which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. GloRilla will make her “SNL” debut on an episode hosted by comedian Dave Chappelle.
