Winter storm warnings cover different parts of Utah, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming and Idaho, hugely affecting travel.

A powerful storm is expected to bring very strong winds and heavy rain on Christmas morning to the South Coast of B.C., including in Metro Vancouver and Greater Victoria.

Steady rain will kick in at the beaches, and gusty southerly winds will start to roll up the Washington coast. By mid-day on Wednesday, the precipitation will fill into the Puget Sound Basin, then march up into the Cascades to yield heavy snow by early afternoon.
