"With more than 3,000 restaurants across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada, the new sites in Belfast, Leeds, Liverpool, and London will mark the first locations outside of North America for the restaurant brand, which is known for its famous Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich and friendly hospitality.

Only four months after construction fencing first came up, Delaware's newest Chick-fil-A is already ready to crack open its doors.

The restaurant, 2153 Monroe Road, will begin serving the Bellevue community on Oct. 3, according to a news release. The Georgia-based company selected Preston Waala, a Wisconsin native, who graduated from UW-Green Bay, as the independent franchised local owner and operator for this location.

The company says Kevin Melott as the independent franchised local Owner-Operator and the Mason City Chick-fil-A will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 am to 10 pm, Monday through Saturday.

Chick-fil-A has more than 40 restaurants in the Chicagoland area, including in Hobart, Schererville, Crown Point and Valparaiso. It's currently working to open a location at the s
