Queen Camilla, the wife of Britain's King Charles, will resume engagements next week when she will host a reception for a literary prize, Buckingham Palace said, after a chest infection forced her to cancel events this week.

Buckingham Palace said Queen Camilla “is currently unwell with a chest infection,” but did not provide further details about her condition.

Her Majesty, 77, is now set to take a "short period of rest" as advised by doctors, as she remains at home under the watchful eye of doctors.
