Ukraine’s border force cannot trademark the anti-Russian wartime insult, “Russian warship, go f**k yourself,” because it is a political slogan, an EU court decided Wednesday.

Russian ruler Vladimir Putin has approved new rules for compensation for wounded soldiers who took part in the war against Ukraine. Under the new conditions, a significant number of wounded Russian soldiers will receive reduced payments.

Blinken made a hastily arranged trip to Brussels to reassure NATO and European Union allies that the U.S. will intensify its efforts to send resources to Ukraine ahead of the inauguration of Trump, who has strongly criticized the scale of the U.S. effort to defend Kyiv.
