Jarrod Bowen got the winner at St. Mary's, reaching out to tap home at the back post after Tomáš Souček and Niclas Füllkrug combined with headers to get the ball across the box. The captain ran to the away end to celebrate, and was joined by almost the entire team in a real show of unity.

SOUTHAMPTON, England (AP) — West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski was taken off the field on a stretcher after sustaining an injury in the Premier League game against Southampton on Thursday. The game was delayed for around eight minutes as Fabianski received treatment on the field at St Mary's Stadium.

West Ham United manager Julen Lopetegui said goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is "alert" and conscious after being stretchered off during their win at Southampton.
