Barely two weeks after the Tanker Explosion Killed 100 people at Dikko Junction, Niger state, another Tanker accident occurred in the Agaie local government area of the state.

A fuel tanker truck explosion killed 18 people in Nigeria's southeastern Enugu state on Saturday, the national road safety agency said, a week after another incident left about a 100 residents dead in the north of the country.

The South East Senate Caucus has bemoaned the recent explosion of fuel tankers in Niger and Enugu States, expressing sadness that Nigerians are being roasted on the nation’s roads due to avoidable accidents.

Just two days after over 90 people were burnt to death in a tanker explosion that also left scores injured in Niger State, residents massed around another fallen truck in another community.The fresh incident occurred in Bida town on Monday.
