McDonald’s has made a surprising decision to shutter nearly half its spinoff locations just one year after they launched (via The New York Post ).

McDonald’s is closing nearly half of its CosMc’s spin-off restaurants less than a year after they began serving customers, but the chain says it remains committed to the concept. The company is closing three locations, the largest CosMc’s it has opened, but says it plans to open two smaller stores in Texas this year.
