GELO has teamed up with Lil Wayne on the remix of his 2025 runaway hit "Tweaker" on Friday (Feb. 7). The NBA G-League hooper and middle Ball brother (real name LiAngelo Ball) released the original song at the top of the year after it was previewed on popular streamer N3on's platform last December and it officially premiered on WorldStarHipHop.

The viral song became a song that everyone was vibing out to in the professional sports world, with the Detroit Lions playing it in the locker room after clinching the NFC North, Gelo's brother Lonzo and the Chicago Bulls singing along in the locker room, and even South Carolina women's basketball coach Dawn Staley raving about the song.

The remix arrives shortly after Wayne announced his upcoming album Tha Carter VI, which Rolling Stone confirmed is scheduled to arrive on June 6. Gelo getting a co-sign from a rapper of Wayne’s legend and caliber is a promising sign for where his career might be heading off the court.
