California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Vice President JD Vance traded quips over the Trump administration's mass deportation policies after the vice president's vacation to Disneyland.

In a post on X, Newsom’s press office called White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, the architect of many of Trump’s hard-line immigration policies, a “ fascist cuck .” Newsom defended the name-calling in a news conference, saying of the Trump administration: “I don’t think they understand any other kind of language.”

Vance pushed back on Newsom’s latest jab that accused the second family of hypocrisy during a trip to Disneyland amid immigration raids in California.

Newsom also accused the president of trying to preserve Republican power in Washington by pressuring Texas to redraw congressional districts to elect GOP representatives.
