Bearcats Women’s Basketball broke a 9-game losing streak to the Maine Black Bears, winning at home on Thursday night 69-59. Junior Guard Jadyn Weltz paced the Bearcats offense on Thursday night, scoring 21 points.

The Bearcats were up double digits in the second half but could not hold on as the Maine Black Bears came back to win 82-71. Binghamton falls to 1-1 now in the America East and 9-8 overall on the year.

The Black Bears would shoot 73% in the second half and would end the contest on a 17-7 run to take down Binghamton 82-71 to hand the Bearcats their first conference loss of the year.
