A new WWE Women's World Champion will be crowned at the WrestlePalooza premium live event on September 20th. On the September 1st episode of Monday Night Raw, it was officially announced that Stephanie Vaquer will face IYO SKY to determine the new champion.
Naomi announced her pregnancy at Monday Night Raw on Aug. 18 as her reign as Women's World Champion ends at 35 days.
At Evolution, Vaquer won a battle royal to earn a title match at Clash in Paris, and after Naomi beat Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat match to retain the women's world title at SummerSlam, she was set to be Vaquer's opponent. However, Naomi announced last week on Raw that she is pregnant, which forced her to vacate the title.
A new report says the planned WWE Championship match for the next PLE is "up in the air" and a legend could be taking the champion's place.
