As the college football season officially picks up steam this week, here's how you can stream games this year, including some free options.

The sports giant is rolling out a pair of direct-to-consumer streaming plans on the ESPN App that do not require a cable subscription.

The new ESPN direct-to-consumer app launched August 21, 2025, giving sports fans access to all network channels without a cable subscription.

The app will offer two subscription plans and grant access to ESPN's full content slate outside the traditional TV bundle for the first time.

Starting this Saturday, KETV NewsWatch 7 at 6 will air live on Very Local, KETV’s streaming app. The broadcast will continue through the end of the college football season.
