From upping the ante on Jamie and Beth’s feud to amplifying Rip’s role on the ranch to forcing Kayce to reckon with his internal battle of picking his family or the ranch, writing John off makes a lot of sense when it comes to intensifying his kids' stories.

While the star has confirmed he's not returning for the upcoming season, he recently revealed, "I think that story is not finished.”

Kevin Costner continues to keep us on our toes. Highlighting that his run as John Dutton on Yellowstone has “been a wonderful part of [his] life,” Costner teased to Entertainment Tonight that “some things have a way of circling back.

The return of Yellowstone is getting bigger. In addition to its regular airing on Paramount Network, the show’s Nov. 10 premiere — its first original episode in 22 months — will also air on CBS. The broadcast network won’t simulcast the premiere, however; instead it will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, two hours after it debuts on Paramount Network.

As “Yellowstone” finally debuts its much-anticipated second half of Season 5 on Paramount Network, fans will also be able to watch the premiere episode on CBS.
