BYU cheerleading coach Jocelyn Allan lost consciousness after being struck in the head with a water bottle following BYU’s final-second victory over Utah on Saturday, and police say an 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

The University of Utah police department arrested an 18-year-old individual Tuesday after a member of BYU's travel party alleged she was hit with a water bottle during the Cougars' rivalry tilt at Rice-Eccles Stadium over the weekend.

Utah's Brandon Rose, who made his first career start last week against BYU, will undergo season-ending surgery on his lower leg, making him the third Utes QB lost for the season.
