Two 13-year-old boys were shot in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday night after an attempted carjacking, police said.

According to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small, the man got a call from a neighbor stating that four juveniles appeared to be breaking into his Honda.

Police and fire department paramedics responded to Allman Street, near South 61st Street, just after 3 a.m. on Jan. 30, 2025, to find a man face down and bleeding from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the side of his head, Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said.

Police said a 26-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times in Philadelphia's Fairhill section. A 16-year-old and 18-year-old were also hit.
