Ducati’s Francesco Bagnaia kept his MotoGP title defence alive with a victory at the Malaysian Grand Prix in Sepang, cutting Jorge Martin’s lead in the driver’s standings down to 24 points before the season’s final race.

Michael Laverty praised the “battle” between Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin at the Malaysia MotoGP, which saw the “ultra aggressive” Italian end as winner.

For the tenth time this season Francesco Bagnaia claims victory in a Grand Prix as he closes the gap in the Championship.
