NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - An 87-year-old man who previously served as the assistant chief of police for the Metro Nashville Police Department in the 1960s is accused of shooting and killing his wife, according to an arrest affidavit.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) charged an 87-year-old man in connection with his wife’s death. In a Facebook post, the RCSO said John Sorace was charged with reckless homicide. An investigation into the case is ongoing.
