The Houston Texans picked up receiver Diontae Johnson after Tank Dell’s season-ending injury. Today, they let him go. The Texans announced on Tuesday that the team waived Johnson. At this point, it’s not clear why he was released.

The Houston Texans have cut former Pittsburgh Steeler. The Texans claimed Johnson off waivers after the Baltimore Ravens released him in Week 16. The Ravens cut Johnson after he refused to go into the team’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
