Shedeur Sanders ended up a fifth round pick of the Cleveland Browns in the 2025 NFL draft after spending a good deal of time being discussed like he was a potential top five pick. He wasn't even the first quarterback the Browns took in the draft.

On the latest episode of the Scoop City podcast (starts at 10:00 mark), The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported toward the end of the 2024 season the Giants had Sanders ranked as the No. 1 quarterback on their big board. "Once they realized they weren't gonna get Cam Ward," Russini reported, "Shedeur to them was their top quarterback."

Sydney Schoen, the daughter of New York Giants GM Joe Schoen, has been absolved after being falsely accused of the Shedeur Sanders prank call.

It’s Tuesday, April 29 and the Giants (19-10) are in San Diego to take on the Padres (17-11). Logan Webb is slated to take the mound for San Francisco against Nick Pivetta for San Diego.
