Slow Horses star Gary Oldman is to read a CBeebies Bedtime Story as part of Friday's BBC Children in Need show… and we've been assured he won't do it in the style of Jackson Lamb!

As announced live from the BBC Children in Need studio on The One Show, in a heartwarming collaboration for BBC Children in Need, Academy Award, Golden Globe and three time BAFTA-winning actor Gary Oldman will be reading a very special CBeebies Bedtime Story, which will be aired as part of Friday night’s BBC Children in Need 2024 show.

The Batman star, 66, will read a true story specially written for the episode by Claire Taylor and with illustrations from Tim Budgen.
