The New Orleans Saints have a tough decision to make this offseason regarding Derek Carr's contract. He was injured this year and has not played very well. However, his contract is largely unmovable and carries so much dead cap if he were to be released.

Derek Carr has been dealing with a left hand injury since the Saints’ Week 14 game against the New York Giants. It is not the first time he has missed games this season, literally adding insult to injury with New Orleans’ struggles. The Saints will now face his former team, the Las Vegas Raiders, in Week 17.
