Traffic in North West Delhi will be restricted on January 3, 2025, from 9 AM to 4 PM for a VVIP visit. Major roads like Mall Road, GTK Road, and Mahatma Gandhi Marg will be affected. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time.

PM Modi will inaugurate four projects in Delhi today, due to which barricading and traffic restrictions have been put in place on multiple routes.

To ensure safety and manage the crowds, nearly 20,000 police and paramilitary personnel will be deployed across the city.

The Delhi Pioice restrictions will affect traffic in areas such as Azadpur, Model Town, Kingsway Camp, Gujranwala Town, Derawal Nagar, Swabhiman Apartment and Ramleela Ground in Ashok Vihar. Residents travelling to these areas are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and keep extra time for their commute.

To further strengthen security, 11 companies of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and 40 motorcycle patrol teams, along with an equal number of foot patrols, will be stationed in high-traffic areas.
