The Baton Rouge Police Department is searching for a suspect and motive in connection with a deadly shooting that happened around 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6. Leonard Browder, 30, died from injuries sustained in the shooting which took place on Shelley Street.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - One person is in critical condition following a shooting in Baton Rouge. The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. off of Shelley Street and Alamonster Drive. Emergency officials transported one to the hospital with critical injuries.

One person was killed in a shooting in the 5400 block of Longfellow Drive in Baton Rouge on Wednesday afternoon, a police spokesperson said. Terry Wayne Jones, 35, was shot multiple times around 3:24 p.m. and died at the scene, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
