The Alabama Crimson Tide and Oklahoma Sooners square off Saturday afternoon in a game with massive College Football Playoff stakes attached.

If the season ended this week, the Sooners would be the first team omitted from the playoff. OU's two losses are to No. 7 Mississippi at home and No. 10 Texas at a neutral site. Its best wins are over No. 18 Michigan at home and No. 23 Tennessee on the road.
