Police fatally shot an armed suspect who allegedly barricaded himself with a patient and security guard at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Thursday night, police said.

Hundreds gathered in NYC's Foley Square on Wednesday after a woman was fatally shot by an ICE agent in Minneapolis.

A 24-year-old was shot in the face and a 26-year-old was hit in the back when gunfire erupted inside Alex Deli & Grocery at 1256 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn around 3:47 p.m., according to an NYPD spokesperson. Both victims were rushed to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

Upon arriving on the eighth floor of the hospital, police gave the suspect verbal commands to exit the room and drop the weapon.
