The group has published 86 maps of cities across the United States, highlighting the space dedicated to parking lots in city centers. A map highlights designated parking spaces in downtown Providence.

The maps approved Tuesday do not move any municipalities into another district, but shift about 8,000 residents of Providence residents, which is shared by the two districts, back to District 2.

All four of the proposed maps would keep all incumbents — even those out of favor with Democratic leadership.
