Undrafted Chinese kicker Long Ding will try out for the Jacksonville Jaguars over the weekend at their rookie minicamp, the next stop on an improbable football journey.

Matt Stover, the former NFL kicker who c0-founded the Players’ Philanthropy Fund, which assists pro athletes with their charitable giving, agrees that Ding has NFL potential.

The Jaguars failed to lure Tim Tebow back to Florida, but have acquired the services of another growing fan favorite. Meet kicker Long Ding, all the way from Quig Doa, China.

Long Ding, an undrafted invitee to Jaguars rookie minicamp, has a chance to become the first native of China to play in the NFL.
