The Buffalo Bills announce a massive injury list ahead of "Thursday Night Football" against the Houston Texans.

Mecole Hardman had quite the Buffalo Bills debut. On his first touch, he returned a kickoff for 61 yards. Later, he fumbled a punt that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers recovered. The Bills announced during the fourth quarter that Hardman was out for the rest of the game with a calf injury. Hardman had just signed to the practice squad on Monday.

It's certainly not ideal, especially considering that the Buffalo Bills are facing a short week. The Bills' injury report grew to 16 total players on Monday. W

Houston will rely on Davis Mills under center against Buffalo. The veteran led the team to a comeback victory over the Jaguars and another win in Week 11 against the Titans. He has plenty of experience for the Texans since he started a combined 26 games in 2021 and 2022.

In Week 12, the Houston Texans and Nico Collins meet the Buffalo Bills at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Thursday. Collins (limited participation in practice, ankle) is on the injury report this week. He does not currently have a game status listed.

Buffalo makes several key personnel changes ahead of Sunday's matchup, with Davis expected to immediately contribute to the passing game after rehabbing with the team since September.
