AJ Lee's return to WWE SmackDown brought much excitement, but also questions about what she will do when she has a match with others.

There is a building excitement in the WWE Universe. The signs are pointing to the return of AJ Lee -- AJ Mendez -- to the sports entertainment juggernaut. The better half CM Punk -- aka Phil Brooks -- is expected to be back on WWE television shortly,

Lee last wrestled for WWE in a six-woman tag match on the March 30, 2015 episode of Raw. She announced her retirement that April after dealing with a neck injury since SummerSlam 2014. Lee revealed during a 2022 interview with Renee Paquette that she wrestled the match against Paige that summer with three herniated disks in her cervical spine.
