Former Penn State wide receiver Omari Evans announced that he is transferring to Washington. Evans entered the transfer portal following Penn State’s season ending loss in the Orange Bowl to Notre Dame.

Omari Evans finished first among Nittany Lion wideouts with five touchdowns and second with 415 yards in 2024.

On Wednesday night, Evans found a new home in the transfer portal as he committed to the Washington Huskies, per Hayes Fawcett of On3 . Evans quoted Fawcett's post with a caption that read, "Hei5man run."

Washington added what seems likely to be their final addition in the transfer portal before the spring tonight by bringing in Penn State WR Omari Evans. The 6’0 senior will have 1 year of eligibility remaining (with a redshirt available) after finishing this season with 415 yards and 5 TDs.
