SEATTLE (AP) — Aaron Judge hit a go-ahead home run in the eighth inning as the Yankees beat the Mariners 3-2 on Wednesday.

The Yankees were able to pick up a victory in Game 1, winning 11-5 with Trent Grisham hitting two home runs. Austin Wells and Anthony Volpe also hit long balls of their own. But the game was overshadowed by a horrific injury to utlity man Oswaldo Cabrera.

Aaron Judge crushed his 15th home run of the year 444 feet, breaking a tie game and lifting the Yankees to a comeback 3-2 win over the Mariners on Wednesday afternoon at T-Mobile Park.
