NHL is announcing the first and second quarter-century teams for each franchise that's existed since 2000, as voted by a panel of media, retired players and executives specific to that club. These players are judged to have been the best for their team in the past 25 years as the NHL world honors their accomplishments since the beginning of the new millennium.

With only three-plus seasons of work to go off, choosing the best dozen Kraken players of the past 25 years as part of an NHL-wide exercise nonetheless produced some strong results

The National Hockey League is celebrating the first 25 years of the century by naming each franchise’s best team in that timespan and the Blue Jackets’ squad was named Thursday. Columbus’ quarter-century teams consist of the best players who suited up for the CBJ since 2000.

Goalie: Daccord has taken over as starter the past two seasons. He had a solid first season, going 19-18-11 with a 2.46 save percentage, .916 save percentage and three shutouts in 50 games (46 starts), and is 12-9-2 with a 2.51 GAA, .912 save percentage and one shutout this season.
