As announced in the new State of Play, PlayStation 5 players can now join in the Palworld fun with a port out on Sony’s platform just a week after maker Pocketpair was sued by Nintendo for alleged patent infringement.

Palworld is launching on PlayStation 5 today, after releasing in early access on PC and Xbox Series X|S earlier this year. The massive survival-crafting game saw huge numbers at launch and has now made its way to the PS5, despite currently being sued by Nintendo for alleged patent infringement.

Pocketpair has confirmed that it will endeavour to release Palworld in Japan "as soon as possible", but with Nintendo's lawsuit casting a shadow over the game's release elsewhere, we'd be remiss to even attempt to predict a potential release date at this time.
