Glenn Martens, the Diesel designer, has been named creative director at Margiela. He replaces John Galliano, who left the brand in December.

Glenn Martens, known for his reconstructed denim and avant-garde silhouettes, is the new creative director of Maison Margiela.

Following Glenn Martens ‘ departure at Y/Project last year, rumors have been rife regarding where he will land next. In the never ending game of fashion musical chairs, the now creative director of Diesel is speculated to be the next creative lead for Maison Margiela. He would succeed John Galliano who recently vacated his role at the house.
