As per BSE data, a block deal happened today in which 30,72,730 shares, valued at Rs 543.27 crore, changed hands. The floor price for the deal was set at Rs 1,768.05. However, the official buyers and sellers of the block deals are not yet known.

HDFC Bank Ltd.'s share price hit a two-month high on Wednesday after HSBC raised its target price for the stock while maintaining a 'Buy' call.

The stock was last seen trading 1.61 per cent higher at Rs 1,695.55. At this price, it has risen 17.24 per cent in the past six months.

Shares of HDFC Bank gained by a percent to Rs 1,787 per share on September 25, nearing its 52-week high after HSBC analysts upgraded target price on the stock to Rs 2,010 from Rs 1,870 as the lender plans to sell 3 percent of their loans to bring down its higher credit-to-deposit (CD) ratio.
