In images obtained by The Sun newspaper the 42-year-old royal was pictured arriving via car at a service at Crathie Kirk Church near the royal family's Balmoral residence in Scotland on a Sunday.

In a video message, Catherine said she would return to more of her duties, a positive development, but many questions remain about her condition and treatment.

Catherine, Princess of Wales has made her first public appearance since announcing she had completed chemotherapy and would return to some public duties. The 42-year-old and her husband, Prince William, were seen on Sunday attending church with King Charles III and Queen Camilla near their royal Balmoral estate in Scotland.
