One of Read’s lawyers, Alan Jackson, will continue his cross-examination of McCabe on Friday beginning at 9 a.m. Read, 45, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of O’Keefe, who was found outside the home of a fellow Boston police officer on Jan. 29, 2022.

McCabe testified earlier this week that Read had just showed up at her residence unannounced after they spoke on the phone.
