Over the years, the Alabama Crimson Tide has become quite familiar with the Senior Bowl due to the game being in the Tide’s home state, as well as the numerous players that Nick Saban sent to the week-long event. This year’s crop of Crimson Tide standouts will include QB Jalen Milroe, TE C.J. Dippre, DL Tim Smith, and P James Burnip.

A second-team All-SEC left tackle who transferred to the Crimson Tide in 2022 for his final season of eligibility, Steen has played four of five offensive line spots for the Eagles. Per Pro Football Focus, he played 386 snaps in 2024, and made a start for the Eagles at left guard in the NFC championship against the Commanders.

The SEC had 10 teams ranked in the AP Top 25. Tennessee (17-3) fell two spots to No. 8 with the Kentucky Wildcats (14-5) falling three spots to No. 12. Texas A&M (No. 13, 15-5), Missouri (No. 20, 16-4), Ole Miss (No. 23, 15-5) and Vanderbilt (No. 24, 16-4) were all ranked.

A pivotal SEC game between a couple of top 15 teams takes place Wednesday night in Starkville. No. 14 Mississippi State (16-4, 4-3) hosts No. 4 Alabama (17-3, 6-1) in a battle of SEC positioning. Alabama is currently just one-half game behind Auburn atop the SEC standings while Mississippi is in a logjam of five teams currently 2.
