Trash will not be picked up Wednesday in Lafayette; pick-up schedule remains in flux

Acadiana Waste Services will not be picking up garbage and recycling Wednesday as a result of hazardous road conditions after Tuesday's blizzard. Trash pickup in Lafayette and the unincorporated parts of the parish was suspended Tuesday during the winter storm and again Wednesday after the storm dumped up to 11 inches of snow in the area.
